I suppose most cultures can be identified with the style of clothing they wear. If you let your mind run through different styles of apparel, you will probably be able to identify the culture and the area of the world that naturally relates well to the style.
I think western wear is a bit different, but probably not alone, in that wherever people are, they choose western apparel in order to identify with a life-style more than a culture. My theory is that it’s a life-style that has to do with caring for and working with cattle and horses. I’m pretty sure that the culture of Wyoming and Argentina are significantly different, but I suspect the life-styles are more the same than different.
Can you tell I haven’t been trained as a sociologist or an anthropologist? Have a great new year everybody!
