Western Duster Is All About Dust

Yesterday I asked Google about “Eastern Bolo Tie”, and Google was having none of that nonsense. Today I did the same thing for “Eastern Duster”. Turns out that some lady on ask.com gave an answer as to what an eastern duster is. I have no idea if she knew what she was talking about, but it sounded reasonable…something about a rain coat.

Have you ever heard of a long cattle drive east of the Mississippi? Cattle drives gave birth to the duster. If you’ve never been on a cattle drive, it gets a bit dusty behind all those critters, and the western duster kept the dust off the clothes.

Even if there had been cattle drives east of the big river, it probably wouldn’t have kicked up much of a cloud anyway. They got no dust…too much rain.
