Are Men’s Western Shirts A Little Like Pears?
Although the design/pattern of men’s western shirts are often the same as shirts for the ladies, there are some differences. One difference that comes to mind is a rather unfortunate commentary on the guys. The guy’s shirts can tend to be larger to accommodate more content a little further south than the ladies.
Another difference, it seems, is because more people are right handed than are left handed. The difference here is that for the ladies, the buttons are on the left. But more ladies, like men, are right handed too, you might say. It turns out that long, long ago, most ladies had servants dressing them, and apparently most servants are right handed too. That could be helpful today too, if your lady needs a little help unbuttoning her shirt…unless you’re left handed.
